Kann hier wer Linux und UEFI? Gibt es eine elegante Möglichkeit über einen Reboot hinweg Daten zu behalten weiterzugeben ohne sie irgendwo zu persistieren, z.B. für Disk-Crypto-Keys?

@jomo jo gibt es, geht mit kexec
du kannst prinzipiell zB etwas in ein initrd (cpio) in den RAM schieben und mit übergeben :)

@CyReVolt @jomo kexec ist mir bekannt, wurde ich aber nie so richtig warm mit. Verhält sich irgendwie immer subtil anders und ich würde es bevorzugen, wenn ich das irgendwie im normalen Bootprozess abgebildet bekommen würde. (Hab auch parallel wieder ein bisschen damit rumgespielt. Wenn ich kexec mache, wird bei meinem Laptop der Bildschirm einfach schwarz, macht das alles gleich nochmal spaßiger.)

na ja, "normal" ist ja vom use case abhängig - kexec kann auch der normale Bootprozess sein, ist dann LinuxBoot. 🙂
Schau gern mal beim #38C3 bei der Open Source Firmware Assembly vorbei, dann können wir das mal etwas zusammen durchgehen.
