Ein paar Ideen für Android. Testet das vorher bei eurem OS!

Auf jeden Fall starkes PW verwenden!

Nach reboot oder mehrfach falschem Fingerabdruck braucht man PW.

• >10s Powerbutton halten

• "Wrong Pin Shutdown" rebootet nach X falschen PWs

• Duress PW (GrapheneOS) löscht sofort alle Daten

• Finger+PIN (GrapheneOS)

• Unüblichen Finger benutzen. Je nach Sensorlage z.B. Zeigefinfer der 2. Hand statt Daumen

• Nur belangloses hinter Fingerabdruck speichern, sensibles in Nutzerprofil mit starkem PW

Das sicherste ist natürlich, einfach keinen Fingerabdruck zu verwenden. Für viele ist das im Alltag aber zu praktisch.

OLG Bremen: Die Polizei darf eure Smartphones unter Zwangsanwendung mit eurem Finger entsperren.

Das widerspricht auch nicht den Grundsätzen, dass man jede aktive Mitwirkung an der Aufklärung verweigern darf und sich nicht selbst belasten muss.

Begründet wird das damit, dass Erkennungsdienstliche Maßnahmen im Wortlaut nicht auf Erkennungsdienstliche Maßnahmen beschränkt sind. Das gilt auch für FaceID und Iris-Scans.

PSA if you use Mull (the privacy hardened Firefox/Fennec fork) on Android, or any of the other apps maintained by DivestOS: It is now dead. https://web.archive.org/web/20250115190317/https://divestos.org/pages/news#end

There is a fork called IronFox. Unfortunately it is not in the official F-Droid repository, and I don't think they have reproducible builds, either :(
