@Stanthewizzard I’ll check again. Those are the exact steps I was using to test the issue, and it worked correctly during development - but I can reproduce it with the App Store Build now. 🙈

@Stanthewizzard @voidstern It’s actually fixed it already, but after submitting the last build (those take a day or two to be reviewed by Apple) - it’s going to be in 2.12.3.

The bugs and bug fix updates blur a bit together in my memory, so I had to check why it’s still happening in the release 😅

@maique It’s only supported as sharing service (i.e. sending articles there; you can find it in Settings > Sharing > System Actions and it should ask you to login the first time you’re using it) not as a syncing service (yet - haven’t looked into the API enough to see if that’s possible).

@voidstern Hey Lukas. I updated to this new version on my iPhone (iOS 17.7.1) and now all my feed list favicons have disappeared and replaced by generic RSS icon. I’ve tried multiple refreshes of the feed list. Also hold sync button to clear cache. But didn’t help. After another few pull to refresh, a few feed icons reappeared but then disappeared again on the next sync. Any ideas?

@stukey @voidstern Thanks. It appears this was a bug with the updated clearing cache logic, I missed a change when I copied it from the image cache to the favicon cache - will be fixed in the next update.

@stukey The clean up happens at most every 24hrs… so should happen on the iPad as well in the next day 😅

@voidstern Super. Ich war schon sehr irritiert, dass FF 20GB meines iCloud Speichers mit Backup belegt hat, obwohl doch FreshRSS die Feeds bereitstellt. Dann kann ich das Backup ja wieder einschalten. Danke sehr.
