That last sidebar redesign in Focused v1.10. I think I'm starting to settle on a visual style for the app that I really like.

Focused 1.9 is out. It now supports searching and an updated calendar with day and week views.
It’s still a bit of an early access app, but it’s getting closer and closer to having all the features I need, at least.

Fiery Feeds 2.12.1 with a couple of fixes for the text extraction.
It’s probably going to take a couple of updates until I’m through with the list of bugs after 2.12 and iOS 18. But I do expect much more regular text extraction fixes with the new parser. https://voidstern.net/archives/3620

Fiery Feeds 2.12 with support for iOS 18, dark/tinted icons, way more preview images and favicons, and all-around improved article cache is out.

In the meantime I’ve also rewritten the caching logic from scratch, now in Swift, using all the fancy new stuff like Swift concurrency. It’s way faster, it can fetch preview images from linked websites, continue downloading images in the background, the article preview text can use the extracted text if available, and more.
It will be in version 2.12, which also includes iOS 18 support. You can get it now on TestFlight, but do expect bugs! https://testflight.apple.com/join/A5WLH5bo
