Last night one of my PC monitors broke, and the remaining one is showing some uncanny intermittent flickering. So that's a pretty bad distraction from most things I could be doing this week. 🙄

But I'm using the opportunity to make some overdue changes to my home PC setup. May dive into 144Hz territory finally, if this all goes well. Do dedicated Intel A770 cards play well with Wayland?

That is usually a sign that the Tantalum decoupling / smoothing capacitors are end-of-life. Most of the time they are not hard to replace.

@knu Thanks! Might need to keep an eye out for a repair workshop near me that takes these, the monitors are both only three years old.
