went ice skating last night, because i was walking through the park and they had the rink set up and there weren’t many people skating and i had no pressing commitments. it was very grounding.

meditations:

• the uses of friction

• becoming attuned to the grooves of previous decisions, the way they want to pull you off balance

• sometimes you just need to go in circles for awhile

• keep your feet under you

• if you fall, get up and keep going

• the dance of supporting another without falling
