Mastodon is now the only social media that doesn't make me sick. The past few days have perfectly demonstrated how the algorithm of for-profit social media is a corrosive force in culture and an emotional cancer to our society. I deleted my Twitter account a few months ago and have not missed it at all. I think all my meta accounts need to go next.

@brentpatterson same, having a very limited feed has done wonders for me. I'm all but off of Facebook at this point, and this is honestly where I'm most active in terms of engagement.

@smagnusson @brentpatterson Same here. A lot of Blender folks are still on X, so I'm active there too when it's about Blender. For the rest, I'm mostly here & a bit on Bluesky.
