I love Cleveland. I think it's a cute little city, with lots of good food and art and culture. I think there are advantages to staying near my university after school.
I think the cost of living compared to other US cities is appealing.
And my BF and I have lots of friends who are planning to stay in NEO.
I also was expecting the election in Ohio to go very differently. I was expecting the Ohio Senate race to closer and ideally go blue, I was expecting issue 1 to pass which would have provided hope of the state government improving over the coming years, and of course on the national level I was expecting Kamala to be our next president.
I thought America had done the great MAGA experiment of 2016 and were ready to move on from that disaster.
Starting to seriously think about trying to get to a blue state, applying to jobs in the Boston area.
It's tragic because my BF already accepted a job offer in NEO but he said he's willing to try to make it work. We'll see

Related: if you have any openings for a junior/new grad engineer working on PCBs/embedded hardware in the Boston (or I guess other blue) area that you don't need filled for about another year (I'm working on my master's degree in parallel with my bachelor's rn and I will need an extra semester to finish my thesis)
I have experience in Altium, KiCAD, and Eagle, with mixed signal design, embedded micro processors, and some limited RF experience.
And if you let me know I can DM you my resume with more details.
I will probably repost something like this in early summer when my actual graduation is closer. I know this is probably pretty far to be looking
