OK, so I obviously changed my mind about stepping back from my social media presence. What I have done is muted about 30 hashtags, added another two dozen things to my filters, and turned back on the auto hiding of things with CWs. My feed might be down to Monterey Bay Aquarium pictures from @skinnylatte and posts about cats, but I think that works for me.
