Too early for post mortem, except to say it worked out exactly as many of us said in 2022 and early 2023. Namely, that Biden should have been a gracious one termer and have helped to create an honest contest for his successor. Instead he and the Democratic party hard headedly stood by him and then he dropped out at a late stage in the process. Stubborness, hubris, and whatever else.
In 2022 anyone with eyes and an open mind could see Biden wasn't fit and that he had deteriorated greatly from even 2021.
Will anything change in the Democratic Party? Probably not.
