@paninid @uspolitics I am not too familiar with the counting of votes, and I know not everyone has been completely accounted for yet, but the current numbers are quite jarring and anxiety inducing to see. A couple other kind users have suggested considering other factors in counting votes, so I’m trying not to lose hope, but I’m honestly surprised by how many people did in fact vote for him. I know our country has been pretty split, but I really thought more people would vote. The allegations/crimes/poor decisions/lack of policy/FACTS aside, just the contradiction in his speech isn’t enough for people to not vote for him?

@uspolitics @paninid @anasti yes, it feels like the laws of reality seem to be bending in a troubling way, even now, while things are undecided and I’m trying to keep my emotions in check. Keeping perspective is extremely hard, and I am glad there are others here on this service who are sensitive to that challenge.
