Experiencing issues with my external monitor on Fedora 41 with kernel 6.11.5-300.fc41.x86_64. Despite being detected correctly, I can’t set it to full resolution (1440p@144Hz) without display problems. Works fine on Fedora 40, so seems kernel-related. Using an MSI Modern Intel 7 with an Acer 24” monitor via USB-C & HDMI. Anyone else facing this or have solutions? 🤔 #Fedora #Linux #Kernel #TechHelp

@victorjavierlo I ran into something similar yesterday, but didn't get into troubleshooting it - did a system update today and all is working fine. If you haven't run an update today / in the last day or so, you might have some luck with that.
I didn't have time to fuss with it yesterday so I just logged into KDE for the day. All was fine there. Updated + went back to GNOME today and all is fine again. 🤷♂️

@jzb @gelbphoenix I love Mastodon. It’s so great; you ask, and people reply. X and Bluesky are like sending a message into the void… Thank you!
