@flpvsk I’m still struggling to fix the soldering on my capacitors. Got the hot-plate out today, to pre-heat to 100°C. I also want to switch my Pinecil V2 to the stock 6Ω tip and 24V input for a 50–90W upgrade but the DC jack isn’t working. Might settle for 75W with USB-Cand see how I go.

@vk2tty best of luck! fixing these boards is an incredible pain.

If you've soldered in a smaller value cap, it might be easier to add another cap to the same pads. If it's a larger than needed value, might make sense to cut it off with clippers and solder a new cap to the stubs.

I've had a mistake with a cap on my previous build of the QMX, could not clean out the holes whatever I tried.
