Google Maps told me it was an 18 minute walk from a certain point A to B. I was skeptical but I trusted them.
I set off on foot, and it felt like it was taking forever.
About 1 hour later, my feet killing me, sunburned etc, I go into a little fast food place along the way to check progress.
I was LESS THAN HALFWAY there.
I double and triple checked that Maps had Walking selected and showed the little pedestrian icon.
Google is becoming a deeply broken company. At least in terms of UX QoS.

@sirber ha! perhaps. I've learned that the lifeforms on the Android dev team have fingers about 2 mm wide, have perfect eyesight and infinite bandwidth and dont know meaning of many basic words so is it possible those freakish cyberelves also walk at a brisk 100 mph? yes! ha
