I genuinely thought I had been using lead free solder all this time, under some wrong notion that it was banned (maybe it was in the EU? That I used to live in, but alas), but no, it's chock full of death, I mean lead.

@bea So it's either solder with Pb that pollute environment or Pb free solder that can cause zinc whiskers which can destroy device and create more e-waste. Is there an option that doesn't suck?

@sobkas lead will kill you and those around around. E-waste will give any future generations something to at least dig up for scrap/use after the collapse.
