@drka Hi—some time ago, you referred to a talk you gave (I think?) where you said something along the lines of “AI can’t make art but people don’t want art, they want nice pictures.”

I’m reviewing an album that sets a Dadaist poem to AI-generated music. Do you mind if I quote that (and do you happen to have a link to the talk)?

@Dataless sorry that I am late but I am not this often on soc med at the moment, but sure you can use that quote, there is probably no video of the talk that I know of because these are on smaller events and nobody films them, but I’ll have to check

@drka Thanks! I sent in the review this afternoon—I actually wound up going a slightly different direction, so I didn’t use the quote, but it’s one that’s stuck with me.
