One of these days Bluesky is going to run in the "we need money" problem and it will be interesting to see how that shakes out.

At least here I have a reasonable sense of how this instance is financially supported (crowdfunding).

Speaking of which, Bluesky got a Series A they announced today, lead by checks notes Blockchain Capital.

They pretty clearly say up front "we will not hyperfinancialize the social experience (through tokens, crypto trading, NFTs, etc.)."
