Today on #plannedObsolence : the #Logitech MX Anywhere 3.
My scroll-wheel is beginning to fail, so I opened it up and found that the mouse refuses to work at all unless the scroll wheel magnet is detected by a small chip. (the same chip that handles scrolling & is now beginning to fail on my mouse)
In effect, if this tiny chip - only responsible for scrolling - fails, the whole mouse won't work.
