Here in TX, it is very dry right now. We put out pans of water for the critters when it is like this. During the day, it's birds and squirrels who visit. Just now, when we took the dog out after dark, it was a little possum. Dog is very much a lover not a bully, did not even posture at the possum. Possum didn't play dead but stood completely still like "IGNORE ME. I AM NOT HERE." We ducked back in and turned off the porch light so it could hydrate in peace. We like being good neighbors ☺️
