@VickyRampin i'm always fascinated by cases where the "if you have a problem with the original/upstream project, just make a fork" ideal goes horrifically wrong due to personalities, licensing interpretation, and/or user confusion. see: cdrtools/cdrkit and the former ffmpeg/avconv fight:

@VickyRampin (like it's wild to me that not only does basically every Linux distro package cdrkit by default - that's fair enough from my perspective given the legal complexities - but that they also automatically include aliases for cdrtools commands to cdrkit, so basically no one w/o awareness of a relatively petty FLOSS argument from nearly 20 years ago actually knows which tool they're using)
