Hello #MusiciansDay!
If you like songs, and you like bass playing, then you might like Single Bass :-)
"manages to make the bass fill the space most people need a band for", as a reviewer once said :-)
For ages I was mostly playing live, and failing to record the new songs to my satisfaction. But now I'm slowly catching up: 13 songs on Bandcamp so far, next one brewing.
Here's a little thread about some of them:

@SingleBass Did I read an interview with you in Making Music in about 1998 or am I confused? Either way, liking the tracks

There was a little article about SB in Making Music one time! If I recall correctly, it was by Rosie Wilby, whom I'd crossed paths with back then through gigging in Leicester. The timing would be about right as well. I think maybe it was just a description, not an interview? though I could be wrong about that. And earlier on, I had also been interviewed for Guitarist magazine.

(By the way, your post didn't show up here at first, I'm not sure why. Maybe something to do with settings on this instance?)

@SingleBass not sure. I just remember thinking that that was an interesting idea and I'd like to hear it, and because the internet wasn't around to the same extent I couldn't just look you up. I got into a lot of stuff based on descriptions back then, hmv stock levels permitting.
