Ok #RetroComputing folk...

What is the best source for 30pin SIMMs for old Macintosh computers?

@bitterdonald It’s not sexy, but I’ve had luck getting them on eBay, sometimes in untested piles. What size are you looking for?

@RetroViator

4MB or 16MB.

I want to get as much memory in an SE/30 as possible.

These look good, though I think these are slightly too tall and will need to mod the metal framing inside. Which is not a problem, I'm taking the floppy and hard drives out and swapping in BlueSCSI

@bitterdonald SiliconInsider was one of the sources I was thinking of, but he hasn’t posted for awhile, so I thought he was done. I’ve bought VRAM from him a few times. Always works well.

I’d be surprised if they are to too tall. SIMMs can come low profile, but most aren’t. I’m pretty sure my SE/30 uses has the same size SIMMs.
