Ugh!

@mwl posted his Kickstarter over an hour ago, he's past the Goal, and there's STILL no Update no. 1 with our free copy of the previous edition of the first half of the book!

Authors these days...

Ok... Here's an odd question...

Can one have 2 BlueScsi devices on one computer?

Obviously, you'd need to make sure there were no SCSI ID conflicts. I'm considering an A/UX system, and putting the swap space on one SD card just sounds like a better idea than mixing it with the other drive images in the same card.

I was surfing the online store @mwl books, and explained to my (non-binary) partner the "Manly McManface" edition of Ed Mastery (tag @ed1conf just because).

They said Michael should make a "Consistent Grammar" edition with all she/her pronouns of some future book just so we can say things like "the problem you had was with the inconsistent grammar, right? RIGHT‽"

I've had some old computers taking up space for A WHILE.

Then my 10y/o expressed interest in Carmen Sandiego.

Maybe I could get a #retrocomputing sys running?

I had an SE throwing errors. Just needed a clean & adjust RAM on the 68030 accelerator card.

Got a #BlueSCSI module hooked up, the old drives out, & it could boot!

The screen started showing problems, so there was really naught to be done. A board swap into a good SE/30 case.

May I present: the Macintosh SE Faux 30!

It's a modest reference collection of old school networking and system administration and hardware, but it's mine...

(Newest book is Run Your Own Mail Server #RYOMS from @mwl )

Ok... So between Run Your Own Mail Server and httpd & relayd mastery, I don't think I need TLS mastery from @mwl

But I definitely need Letters to ed(1)

This doesn't need to be in print. I can get a used copy of stuff from Abe or Thrift.

Does anyone have a good book or guide to recommend as an intro to IPv6 for a hobby sysadmin who is going to be managing a mixed IPv6 and ipv4 network, and manages their own NDA, web sites, mail server (shout out to @mwl and Run Your Own Mail Server #RYOMS )

Made it ¾ of the way thru the eBook version of #RYOMS by @mwl before the hard copy got here.

Almost time to actually start the process and make the jump.

Need to decide if I should ask @OpenBSDAms to reset my virtual host to "factory" before I start...
