Night School is pulling Oxenfree from itch.io, presumably on Netflix's orders. It's still on GOG for now, but this is one less DRM-free source for the game.
So it's alarming that even with this high-profile removal, no one seems to be recording checksums for the itch.io distribution. A Google search for this checksum isn't turning up any hits, anyway.
So I'M recording it, at least.

I'm sure the OxenFree executable will always be available from various sources. But how will we be sure malware hasn't been added to it, if we don't have a known-good checksum from a reliable source?
I can't possibly be the first person to think of this. I figured the #GamePreservation types would be all over it.
