@bjango I just wish my unsupported Mac running an unsupported macOS could control its fans again ;) #2009MacPro #OpenCore

@nygl You’re welcome to continue running iStat Menus 6, if that helps? We can give you an iStat Menus 6 license if you don’t have one already.

@bjango sure, might need to do that. Thanks. Should still have a Family Pack v6 license. But it’s not as shiny!! :)

@oscarjiminy It’s pretty normal to want a different setup on different Macs? For example, on a desktop Mac, you may want to show more items?

@bjango @oscarjiminy Two ideas for that:

  1. iCloud sync a set of presets where one can save a preset (a-la the current export) and then simply choose a synced preset on the other device or even the same device later (skipping the need to transfer and import the exported preferences.)

  1. Have each device auto-save preferences in iCloud where it lists them w/ the ability to apply an existing device’s settings with a click (removing the export/save step, too.)

@bjango Would love to be able to configure an auto-export to a folder, so that my ~/backup/ folder that I put all such stuff in will always have the latest, even when I forget to export it :)

@bjango I wish it just synced over iCloud. I always use the same settings for iStat Menus in all my devices.

@bjango The MAS version will not prompt for the settings file. When you hit "Import Settings..." it does nothing.

@bjango No World Clocks are showing.

When I go to "Time" and "Edit Clocks", it just shows "Current Location" and "Moon". I can't seem to get any other world calendars to show.
