Had a mini-vent over on LinkedIn this morning about current events and US corporate government policy. I’ve had more engagement with posts about stupid 40 year old certificates than this one. I have a feeling employees are already worried about what their employers might think if they give me a thumbs up. Obviously my LinkedIn contacts are all a bit corporate and official. Sod that.

And then I thought about the grooviest Macintosh I had.

Hands down it was a PowerBook Duo 270 (280?) with a PowerPC 603e upgrade. I also had the full DuoDock Plus with an extra hard drive, floppy drive, 13-inch Trinitron. Also had the MicroDock with a floppy drive.

What a groovy computer, just slot it in like a video cassette. So cool. And run it on battery for about an hour. Can’t remember the official runtime.

Contemplating a small electric BBQ for Christmas. Just to cook a few things on the back deck instead of in the house on gas.
