So, will your #EV or hybrid car still work if your automaker discontinues support? Kills the services and APIs and updates that keep it running? Keep it charging? Keep it safe? Keep it legal?

[#]RightToRepair must extend to #cars, for a start. But all the rest of your vehicle that lives in code, networks, clouds must be in escrow. So if the company fails or fails to keep up, car owners can take over.

Otherwise the green benefits die with the car.
