Split canal bridge. The gap (usually closed by now) was to allow a horse-pulled canal boat to go past the bridge without uncoupling the tow rope.

This is the roll of FP4 in my MX when I fell (up on the Fell!) later that day. Just got the camera back from the repairer yesterday. The back flew open [EDIT and wouldn't stay shut]!

@tapasinthesun Thanks Rom. Not sure about P30, but P33 is pretty nice, and orto is OK too. I had no guidance available for P33 in HC-110, so made an estimate. Nominal 7:30 in dilution B for this roll, thought it was over contrasty. Next roll at nominal 7:00 is if anything a bit under contrasty, but easier to boost that.

This looks really pretty! I'm impressed by the colours and the dynamic range. I don't think I've seen quite this kind of performance from Phoenix (in my very limited experience), particularly the level of detail in the highlights and shadows. Nice job!

@kraks Thank you. At first glance I thought this (second) roll of Phoenix was not as good as the first, as quite a few were awful (badly under-exposed in some cases, for no reason I could see). However, when I came to look more closely there were quite a few on the roll that were OK. So I'm quite pleased. I have one roll left, and thinking of loading it about now for early autumn colour, which it should accentuate!

@kongakong Thanks Tony. It's a nice lens when used less wide open, too. Although since I've got the SMC Pentax K 55mm f/1.8 (the old Takumar formula) with its smooth bokeh, I find I now prefer that.
