One of my friends had a hot twitter account he wanted me to see (he posted all his porn there). So I thought why not, I'll make a temporary account to see how it's changed since I left.
It was probably the worst experience I've ever had on an app. Ever.
First off, I used my Google account to sign in. Not too bad, right? When I went to delete my account they required me to use my password. But I didn't have one since I used my Google SSO. So I had to reset my password in order to get a password

Second. The first thing I had to do after making an account was select what content I wanted to see. I couldn't skip it, AND I had to follow someone before I could see anything. That's absolutely insane. I guess forcing me to have some form of data to fuel their algorithm.
Third. The first thing I see after finally following some random person was an ad for X premium or whatever. Paying to remove ads. I almost deleted my account right there.
Can't believe how spoiled I am on mastodon lol

@AuxilioAb It really is wild how... clean Mastodon feels compared to other services. I miss my friends over on Big Social, but it's so nice being here.
