This is from Devil's Garden in Escalante Utah. I spent years out there, a lot of it in the silence under the stars.

It changed me, as it does. It can't not put things into perspective.

@kevinrns it's always there, we're inside it - but you can only see in very dark places far from the lights of civilization.

The scaling on the device I viewed it created a screen pattern in the stars, quite pronounced.

It is no longer apparent.

Honk, I was going to try and screen-grab it, but it was either on another device, or scaling algorithm improved with age.

It looked like shooting through a porch screen.
