It has been around 18 years since I bought a new album on cassette. But I have just bought a new one. (Well, bought it almost 3 months ago. Delivered today)
Feels good to unwrap it and put it on for the first play.

Review time. Yeah, it was ok. Honestly, not totally my musical taste, but not disagreeable. Sound quality was great. Tactileness of playing a brand new cassette was awesome. 7/10 will listen again

@semachthemonkey I cant remember ever buying a cassette Album, I mostly bought the LP and recorded it (as a backup) for the car.
That way, I never had an expensive album collection in the car.

@Extelec I think most of the music I had in the car was a "backup" too. Either from one of my albums, or backed up from the radio, or backed up from a friends backup of another backup.

@semachthemonkey I seam to remember they also sent singles via the radio, so you could also back them up from there too.

@Extelec Indeed. Although I remember writing to Tony Blackburn once when I was about 8, because he spoiled a lot of my backups by talking over the intro. He didn't write back or change his style :-(
