If I had an older piece of digital art I made but I needed it uprezzed to a printable printable DPI, is there a way to do that?

I've heard tell that it's something #AI can do (like, in #Figma or #Sketch ?), which is one of the few ways I'd feel comfortable using AI. I thought I'd ask here first.

@AesAthena Yes, this is something AI can do. At least some image upscaling AI is trained on scraped images too though 🙃

If the image is large-ish to begin with, you can get decent results with incremental scaling up (e.g. 20% at a time) with a normal method and a very light sharpening step after each upscale. This tends to produce nicer-looking results than scaling up all in one go. The specific upscaling and sharpening method you should use depends on how your image looks.

@AesAthena It's also worth mentioning that the AI upscalers are usually trained on/designed for a specific type of image. Waifu2x doesn't do well on photos and paintings, for example.
