Not that I’m complaining – they’re mostly wonderful – but why do you think it is that, among all Glenn Danzig’s compositions, it’s “Hybrid Moments” that’s received dozens of gentle, wistfully-tinkling-piano covers? It isn’t as if the lyrics of “Hate Breeders” offer any starker a contrast.
