My Synology NAS is ridiculously slow compared to my homelab. It was a nice little box while I didn't have anything or frankly know any better.

Does anyone know if it's at all possible to pull the two disks set up in their SHR RAID system and put them in a regular Linux box? I'd rather not have to buy another two 4TB drives just to safely transfer over the ~2TB of data on it.
