@kapunta Furthermore, the concept of saving is itself nebulous, isn't it? A casual user manipulating volatile data without it persisting somewhere was a short-lived fluke. 💾 And so I feel like every first-party app, such as Apple's QuickTime, TextEdit, Photo Booth and Preview, any app that even narrowly grazed mobile UX, has taken away from that the need to abolish the concept of what's classically called the "unsaved file" because fuck it, it's broken enough hearts! 3rd party apps, not so much.

@kapunta 3rd party apps are written by people who classically save files so habitually that we figure our users expect the same. Well, we're wrong. Frankly, it's a shame that we can't shake ourselves free of it as fast as they can.

@rezmason i don't think it's fair to classify this app as a third-party. it's the same app repackaged for several brands, specifcally infinix and tecno. might as well be standard

do you think a better idea for this dalogue is to replace the back button with "cancel" and the save button with "done"?

@kapunta I think "Cancel" and "Done" would be clearer, yeah, or if the CTA was "Create contact" you could say "Create"
