I thought briefly about Raskin as I built my 20 #20books20days list, remembering that I was obsessed with several of her books as an early reader, but the details remained fuzzy. This lovely take on her work brought it all back— definitely a huge impact on young me, definitely time to revisit these. @ampersand @bookstodon We enjoyed reading The Parker Inheritance, which references The Westing Game a bunch

@ampersand I thought the piece was a little unappreciative of her other books, which I also loved. (Except Figgs and Phantoms, which was beyond me.) @bookstodon

@willaful @bookstodon True; It is most focused on the Westing Game and downgrades the others. In my memory, Leon (I Mean Noel) was as special as WG.
