For those interested - this is how we have implemented cross-app comments using nostr:

We use NIP-73 External Content IDs to attached podcast:guid tags to each of the nostr events.

This means any other Podcasting 2.0 apps can easily query our nostr relay for boosts / comments related to a particular show or episode.
