What is the point of a threaded view in K9 Mail if the "sent" parts of the thread are not included in the view? The app is so good otherwise but this not being an option is weird. (Yes, I'm aware of the workarounds and I don't like any of them).

@pawandubey this is the same in Thunderbird unless I tell it to put replies in the same folder as the message being replied to or I use one folder for both Sent and Archive - kind of an obviously bad experience although the tech I challenges are real

@insom huh, I genuinely remember the old desktop thunderbird being able to thread sent messages in the the inbox. But I haven't used it for a couple of years.

I feel like this can be solved purely in the UI without having to change the underlying IMAP data model.
