Last week, the Chicago chapter of the National Lawyers Guild sought leave to file an amicus brief in the case of the Uhuru Three. I bought it on PACER and have uploaded it to CourtListener via the RECAP browser extension. It argues strongly in favor of the First Amendment: https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.flmd.413158/gov.uscourts.flmd.413158.225.1.pdf

I think the legal arguments in the NLG amicus brief may be relevent in the event that former UN weapons inspector and writer Scott Ritter, who is currently the target of a Foreign Agents Registration Act investigation, is criminally charged. Ritter has written about the investigation here: https://scottritter.substack.com/p/the-fbis-raid-on-peace
