I find it fascinating to look at strength assessment metrics for climbers who boulder around my level (~V4 I guess). The range for women for weighted pull ups (from the data collected by a company that sells training plans) is 1.14 to 1.49 🤯 (mean +/- 1 standard deviation). Buddy I can't even do a bodyweight pull up (my max is probably 0.9).

Sure the sample is probably a bit biased, because I'd guess that climbers who do off the wall strength training are more likely to take these assessments, but still.

The only assessments where I fit in the reported range all relate to finger strength 😬 (I like my crimpy boulders).
