I would like to be transparent on the financial situation of MakerTube so here is an overview of the donations so far. Currently technical costs are covered by the donations and there's even some buffer for future investments. BUT the average amount of donations per month has decreased compared to last year even though the amount of users has doubled since then. Luckily my estimate on storage utilization was very pessimistic and the current setup will hold for some more months. 1/3

The next hardware expansion stage will add at least 100 Euros to the current monthly expenses. This is mainly a bigger storage node and backup space. This will use up the current reserves very quickly. I'm trying to keep operational costs at a minimum while ensuring a stable service but it has its limits.

If you want to help MakerTube and its community please think of setting up a small and recurring donation. This gives me some financial security and ensures the operation of the site. 2/3
