Here, gentles all, is a slime mold I found on my balcony. I haven't seen one for a couple of years but there used to be quite a lot of it. Slime molds are super cool, not plants or animals but single cell organisms that are usually spread out but come together when times get hard to look for food or reproduce. Although they don't have organs as such and are just a homogenous blob inside, the blob can actually move around in a limited fashion. 1/
