I'm starting to think that once the AI thing is able to produce output as clean and good as a human's on these tasks, it will probably be more expensive than a human, thus kind of defeating the purpose 😅
IMO it would be nicer to have the machines figuring out difficult things like new medicines and better materials than making posters, and I can totally see the value in having it read all the theses in the world (nobody really does) so you can search for info in them. But not this :P 🤷♂️

Dunno I personally would rather take a few minutes extra to make a poster in Google Draw or Powerpoint than use one with this many artefacts. But yeah I think not many people care 😅

@trollkatt
It's quite good to bounce ideas off. Daughter and I have been playing with it, but it's sort of empty and ofc inconsistent. It will give you the one nice image (with 17 fingers) which gives you an idea you might use. I'm not sure about anyone else but I need to iterate from an initial idea to get an animation even a few frames.
AI is a waste of time unless you want a fancy loading screen, this just my point of view, art for computer games is huge and 17 finger stills don't touch it.

@trollkatt
Without any consistency, there is no iteration, so it's just front page art, box art, that AI does. For now anyway. I don't use it, not even for ideas. If it could do the lengthy and routine stuff I'd look again, but apparently humans are required for that.
(*ie cleaning up lines, making sure an animation flows, or grabs your eye - textures fit with mood and action - loadsathings - and for full production, not just a one off image.)(is it just me?)

@TheDailyBurble Hmm I wouldn't even trust it with a loading screen at its present state 😅
But I'm the kind of person that gets cranky about spelling mistakes and artefacts and things that could go on for one second longer so they match a soundtrack better on social media.

@TheDailyBurble The issues AI has currently, make things look "carelessly done" and somehow that doesn't sit well with me. I prefer to take time into doing things well even if on a first glance they're less "fancy" than what an AI can accomplish (after the first glance the effect for me breaks down because I immediately start noticing the artefacts).

@trollkatt I just think if you have to check everything yourself anyway it becomes pointless. I know some people trying to make it work for them, but they too end up doing the work themselves.

@trollkatt the most they scrape out of it is a few ideas, maybe, if lucky.
