I just noticed again how shitty Apple Maps is, at least here in Germany the data you see is either outdated or missing completely. Google Maps data usually is pretty good. I‘m wondering if Apple Maps is better somewhere else, I remember when living in Oz around 2017 the navigation data was really bad as well. I‘m wondering if Apple should just shut it down and focus on their stuff. I have the feeling they’re having many lose ends right now…

@marcus at least in the western half of the US it has gotten REALLY good. Especially with live conditions. One example is when a bridge was shut down by a protest, Apple Maps routed me around the long way, while Google maps said it would only be 10 minutes to take the bridge.
On the other hand it completely failed me in Chicago when I was in one of those bridges with multiple levels.
