After 2 weeks split between NYC and DC, I gotta say, it's nice to go to train platforms without worrying about the schedule and bike around without worrying about getting dumped into a mulit-lane high speed road type situation. I know we have it good in the bay compared to most of the country, but wow not only could we do stuff better, but especially for bike infra, other cities are making leaps and bounds, while we're still fighting about a mile-ish of bespoke bike lane on one street
