Hey @flathub! Is there any way for me to verify my app aside from hosting a static page? My app has the ID io.itch.drwhut.TabletopClub, but I can't add a static web page to drwhut.itch.io.

@drwhut we don’t currently have a method for verifying with an Itch account, but that would be pretty nice! We’ve filed an issue here: https://github.com/flathub-infra/website/issues/2806
An alternative would require changing the app ID either do a domain you completely control, or to a supported code hosting URL like io.github
where you could host a file—but we understand that’s not ideal.

@flathub Thank you for the reply!
I understand I am probably in a category consisting of about two people, but I picked my app ID about a year ago, and I wish I had known that the prefix would have had this kind of consequence later down the line.
I shall be awaiting an update to that issue with baited breath :blobcatcomfy:
