The web team identified several issues exposed by launching the new design to so many interested visitors. :) They fixed the issues, re-launched the new design, and have been monitoring things over the past several hours. It looks like we’re good!

The website front-end has been restored. We are still investigating the root cause and working on a proper fix.

We’re continuing to investigate and work to resolve website front-end loading issues. The Flatpak remote, build service, and back-end API remain functional.

We’re hearing reports of intermittent issues loading the website; we’re aware and looking into it!
Edit: for clarity, the Flatpak remote itself remains accessible, so app installations and updates in native app stores like KDE Discover and GNOME Software (or the terminal) should continue work as usual.

Developers, to get more control over how your app shows up when shared on social media and ensure it looks its best, be sure to follow the MetaInfo Quality Guidelines!
https://docs.flathub.org/docs/for-app-authors/metainfo-guidelines/quality-guidelines
These guidelines are designed specifically to help ensure your app can be shown in its best light across Flathub and native app stores, whether when featured on the upcoming homepage redesign or in social posts like this.

You may have noticed something different when you share links to apps on Flathub 👀
Every app now gets a dynamically generated “meta image” for sharing on social media, in messaging apps, etc. Give it a try the next time you share a link to your favorite app!
And as an appropriate demo, check out this app that lets you preview how a link will show up on social media before you actually share it:
