I just finished a piggy bank for my almost-two-year-old. It's made of solid oak, and opens with the correct 3 digit code. I designed the locking pins such that the code can easily be changed.
I'm pretty proud of how it turned out!

It's vaguely based on a design I found on 3axis.co, but fully parametrized and with improved pins and dimensions.

Here it is next to a prototype I cut out of cheap wood, though from before I finished the dials.
My son has dutifully applied some decoration to the prototype 😅
