For #caturday, here's a section of a masking tape practise #waterColour piece (from 2020). The goal was to mask out the iron parts of the fence, paint everything else, then remove the tape and fill in the fence parts. Well, it almost worked out :) The background lacked contrast and turned out very messy when I tried to improve it.

The photo ref of the street cat was taken somewhere in Lazio, Italy a few years earlier.
