Today one of my #domain|s got renewed…so far so good. If it wouldn’t have been with the old registrar where it’s not even registered with for a while now… not sure how this can happen…

@marcus That doesn't happen. If a registrar is not sponsor of a domain, the registry will certainly refuse its EPP domain:renew command. He may have billed you but he certainly didn't update the domain at registry. Of course, devil being in the details, without any, it is difficult to give better assessments.

@pmevzek yep, it’s a bit messed up, my CC got charged and they sent me an invoice but also it’s showing up as “expiring in 30 days” in their dashboard. Sent a support request already and I’m sure they’ll handle it well. Been either them for roughly 15 years and it’s been a super smooth ride so far. So 🤞
